December 2007 - Back Tracking....

Let me just say, December was one crazy month.

1st - Congratulations to Neil - he passed his test so he can teach in PA - if that's where the Lord directs us...he was real nervous about it, but SQUEEZED on by with the right amount of points needed. I'm so proud of you baba!!!

Here's this cute picture of him in his Kindergarten class he student taught for...

To the festivities....

Neil and I decided to host a Christmas dinner. Mind you, our apartment is small - but I love cramming in as many people as possible. I love to host. I just need a bigger house to host in is all.

We invited some of our closest friends over for a turkey dinner - the cook for the night - my hubby Neil. He LOVES to cook. I am one blessed lady is all I have to say. :) But first things first, we need to make room for these people - so Thursday night, December 20th we busted our butt to get this apartment ready to go. We cleared out the living room, moved furniture, put up an extra table, decorated and set up the tables - to me, this was pure joy. I love decorating for a party! Now, after a lot of disagreeing, I put my foot down. I had invisioned how things would fit in my head, weeks before this moment - so I put tables, couches - where I wanted them. And Neil - babe, I love you, but I was right.

Here is the outcome - room for 12 adults, 1 child:

We had such a great time. There was sooo much food....Neil did such a great job...

And here is who came - the Mason's left before we were able to take this picture....

This night was just amazing....we had so much fun. We just hope they had just as much fun as we did.

Now...on to the next night. I had been planning this Sweet 16 Birthday Party for my boss's daughter, Sierra -for about 2 months. This was quite a challenge, for the fact I didn't know any of Sierra's friends. My boss Misty had to cover the bases of the invitees as I took care of everything else. With the help of my girlfriend Brooke, we pulled off one great night. We had so much fun doing this!!!! We got to the house early and decorated...

The girls showed up and got ready for the big "SURPRISE"...

And when Sierra showed up, this is the mess that was left....

Sorry Ricky!
And here is the birthday girl herself (she's crazy...)

And here are her crazy friends....and yes, they have matching outfits on. Misty purchased these for everyone, including Brooke and I. On the back of the hoodie, "Sierra's Sweet 16"...

This night was VERY, very fun...good times. Now what I didn't get a picture of - was Brooke wearing this outfit. She NEVER wears hoodies, and I missed my opportunity of her wearing my favorite item of clothing. Bummer. Maybe one day.
